Personal data controller
The person processing personal data is the law firm Lion’s Law whose office is established at 1180 Uccle, Drève du Sénéchal 19, registered in the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises under number 0839.100.676.
Collection of personal data
Lion’s Law does not collect automatically personal data through its web site (www.lionslaw.be). We only receive such data if our clients provide it voluntarily.
Processing of collected data
The personal data we have collected is processed in accordance with the personal data legislation, namely the law of 8 December 1992 on the protection of privacy in relation to the processing of personal data.
This data is stored in the internal database of our firm, is processed with confidentiality and is never shared with third parties, unless prior and express authorization has been obtained from the concerned persons or if we are required to do so by law.
The purposes of the processing of the data are the following:
- management of the files entrusted to us;
- management of our clients;
- information and promotion campaigns with respect to the services of our firm;
- verification of the absence of any conflicts of interests;
- respect of our legal obligations (including those with respect to anti-money laundering);
- selection of candidates in recruitment procedures.
By providing us their personal data, our clients expressly agree to such data processing.
Duration of the conservation of the data
All the personal data is held as long as necessary for achieving the objectives pursued.
Rights of the persons concerned
The persons concerned have the right to consult their data, to have it corrected or to object to the processing of data for the purposes stated under points 3, 4 and 8 by sending a written request to us on the following email address: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our website uses certain cookies in order to provide the visitors with a good experience when they browse it (for example: find out their language preference). Furthermore, we use Google analytics for statistical purposes, without however being able to identify the visitors. Visitors can refuse the use of those cookies if their internet provider allows them to do so.
